Years ago, I picked up a camera and began to do something I've always wanted to do....create images. My portfolio, here and elsewhere is not normal or typical.

 

At least...I hope not.

My images don't easily fit into a category and that bothers some people. A bulk of my work involves recreating the look and feel of Detective Magazine/Mystery paperback covers of decades past. My images are heavily influenced by that of Guy Bourdin and others.

I'm not an "artist."  I do not create "art."

I have no interest in the (fabled) "Industry," the acquisition of muses, the creative community or interacting with "the scene."

Better outside than in.
Better criticized than complicit.
Better focused than famous.
